We've all heard the expression, "One Stop Shopping", but guess what? Consumers still want a one stop shop experience in real estate. According to a RIS Media survey, 52% of respondents who were aware that a firm offered a full range of services reported that it positively impacted their decision to use the agent and the firm. I myself am a FULL SERVICE Real Estate Agent with one of the best Full Service Companie in the area. The old saying, "You get what you pay for", is definately true when it comes to buying or selling real estate. If you use a discount company, or don't have a high quality full service agent looking out for your best interest then you won't get quality service.
Long-term mortgage rates are DOWN again this week:
****Currently the Dow Jones Industrial Average is DOWN -36.47 / -0.33% currently to 11,064.07 from the opening bell this morning of 11,103.64.
The trend is DOWN over the extended time. Week over week we seem to be DOWN! We are Down almost 800 points today from 2 weeks ago.
Market Update... This is a snap shot compared to last week:
Good-afternoon, It is a great day in Murfreesboro Tennessee. TGIF. Summer is in full swing. In fact school is RAPIDLY approaching. For now we will pretend that summer will continue on forever. With summer goes traveling and family vacations. As you all know my family and I went to Holiday World and Splashin Safari for our family vacation. I know that I have been promising photos and an account of my thoughts and opinion of the park, etc for some time now. It is coming! For now what I can tell you quickly is our family had great family time and enjoyed one another and the parked greatly.
Since then my wife and I had the chance to get away for the 4th of July to Gatlinburg, Tn for the Independence Day Parade and Fireworks events. It was an amazing time. The events start at 12:01AM July 4th with the Parade which lasted until 2AM. WOW.
Then around noon was a regatta river race in downtown. Anything was enter-able except floating duckies and plastic eggs. Then 4th evening there was the US military band playing on the steps of the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies followed at 10pm by 20 minutes of good quality fireworks.
It was a really nice time for the both of us!

Ok, so here we go. I want to teach, advise and give all the best information that I can to everyone who wants it. With that being said I resume my Home Tips Entry's. These will usually come on Wednesday's.
Landscaping with appropriate trees, shrubs and vines will help shade your home and reduce cooling costs. Effective landscaping can also serve as a windbreak to keep heating costs down. As we all know these days keeping costs low and saving all the natural energies we can is very important and earth conscious.
So to my vow to get more, new, better content here is a great story I ran across about a new "IDEA" in real estate. HOME SWAPPING! Yes folks that's right, you buy mine and I'll buy your's. Sound's interesting now doesn't it?
From this article I have found and checked out several sites that do this same kind of thing. This is not for everyone but it may be for you or me. ALWAYS REMEMBER to have a LICENSED REAL ESTATE AGENT involved in your transaction.
Goodmorning all, I know that lately my post have been irregular and not as good as I would hope. As some of you may know or have ready the last few weeks and for that months have not been the easiest for me. This is not at all one thing. Please refer back to Trials and Tribulations. Well this past week was a Holiday weekend and I hope you all had a great one. I spent some time ill and Wed. in the hospital. NOT FUN! I am feeling better from that and am excited.
Today I hope to get back to REAL ESTATE! Today is one month from my TWO year anniversary in the real estate business. This is and has been a point of much discussion and thought for me and my family. I LOVE (the idea) of REAL ESTATE! I find the business to be fun, thought provoking, full of energy, and always changing. It can also be excruciating and exhausting. When it rains it POURS, and when its dry you will DIE of drought. I haven't died yet, and don't plan on it. My thought's on retiring my license and heading in a new career direction are entirely because I may have lost interest in the entire thing.
Most buyers are LIER'S! This is true because most people you meet who say they are buyers AREN'T. I have no problem meeting you, answering your questions and NOT hounding you, but if you aren't going to buy and have no interest DON'T lie to me.
I have been job hunting, NOT FUN! At this point I will admit I STILL have not made a discussion. I need to though. Well this is me being confused, perplexed, and annoyed. Until I make my decision which will have to be soon, I am going to get this site back to NORMAL. Better content that is interesting about what is going on in the Real Estate world. Check back this afternoon for a great article about Home Swapping!
There is alot going on around the 4th of July holiday. Whether that means firing up your grill and inviting all your friends and neighbors over or co-workers. Going over to anothers home with DESSERT! It may mean just enjoy a quiet day with the family. It also may mean a quick get away with the one or ones you love!
